Congratulations on your pregnancy!  I am the mother of one and came 
into being a doula through my own birth experience in 2006 while in 
graduate school.   I completed my training through DONA in October 
2007 and have supported mothers in both hospital and home settings.  I 
believe strongly in supporting a mother's choices and providing her 
and those supporting her with research based information regarding 
pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding.  I am familiar with hypnobirthing, 
hypnobabies,  and other childbirth preparation programs.  In February 
2008 I completed the 40-hour WHO/UNICEF breastfeeding course to become 
a certified lactation counselor.   I offer breastfeeding assistance in 
both the home and out of the Well Rounded Momma office.   I am also 
currently pursuing additional education to prepare for becoming a 
midwife.
