Postpartum Doula

Congratulations on your pregnancy and new addition to your family!  My name is Laural Kelly and I am a post-partum doula.  I have been married for nine years to my soul-mate, Cole.  My son, Gavin, will be two in January.  He is our miracle child and truly a blessing in our lives.  My husband and I struggled through infertility over seven years before we were able to conceive and carry to term our little man.  We will be trying to conceive again in the fall of 2008. 

I received my training through DONA in May 2008 and am currently working on my certification.  I will be attending training in the winter of 2008 to become a certified lactation educator through CAPPA. 

I have felt it has been my “calling” to help new mothers transition into the role of motherhood.  I enjoy helping older children to adjust to the changes and joys a sibling brings into the home.  I provide education for breastfeeding, infant care, babywearing and how to care for yourself as a new mother after the birth of your child.
