April 22-25 or August 19-21
About this Advanced Lactation Training: To keep up with current trend, this course has increased the hours of lactation training to 20 hours. The curriculum and content has changed to expand your learning experience and help prepare you to be a highly sought after lactation professional. Course Objectives: How much does the training costs? The cost of training is $360.00 per participant which includes; the course manual, breastfeeding reference/teaching guide, and “teaching” snacks and tools. Where are the classes held? This breastfeeding training course is being offered at Baby's 1st Day Midwifery Services; 6000 S. Eastern Ave. Suite 9-A Las Vegas, NV 89119. (No at door registrations.) Hours for the April class are 8:00 – 4:30 Thursday and Friday and 1:00-5:00 on Saturday. Hours for the August class at 3:00 - 7:00 on Wednesday and 8:00 – 4:30 on Thursday and Friday. Julie Johnson has been an in-patient lactation consultant at 4 hospitals and worked in all of the hospital’s community based lactation clinics. Currently, she divides her time as a private lactation consultant, teaching childbirth classes, birth doula work and representing CAPPA as a CLE trainer for the states of Utah and Nevada.

Limbic Imprint Re-coding Birthshops - with Elena Tonetti-Vladimirova
Twenty five years of thorough research in the field of prenatal psychology show undoubtedly a direct correlation between the way we were born and our subconscious behavioral and emotional patterns- defining the quality of our experience of being in the body throughout our entire life. We come into this world wide-open to receive love. When we receive it as our first primal experience, our nervous system is limbically imprinted, "programmed" with the undeniable rightness of being. Being held in mother's loving arms and seeing the great joy in father's eyes provides us with the natural sense of bliss and security; it sets the world as the right place for us to be in. If our first impressions of being in the body are anything less than loving, then that "anything" imprints as a valid experience of love. It is immediately coded into our nervous system as a "comfort zone," acting as a surrogate for the love and nurturing, regardless of how painful it actually was. Statistically, 95% of births in the US are rated as "traumatic". As adults, we unconsciously re-create the conditions that were imprinted at birth. But it turns out it's not very difficult to create a brand new Limbic Imprint. It's very effective instead of trying to fix the old "programming" (by re-living the initial shock of being born) - just acquire a whole new vivid, rich, wonderful and sweet birth experience. Birthshop participants can have an actual in-the-body experience of being conceived, gestated and born in love and ecstasy. The Birthshops combine lecture/exercise/specific movement/specific breathing/ role-playing - it's very entertaining!
We as adults have the opportunity to heal our own birth trauma, regain our authentic power, and set the stage for our children to step into their lives as peaceful, empowered guardians of Earth.
