I became a midwife because: I love birth and I love babies. I believe
women should be able to make informed choices and be supported in those choices. Birth is a life changing, sacred, intimate, beautiful and transforming event in our lives. Every mother and every baby deserves respect and to be treated with the best possible care we can give. I believe women should have access to evidence based care and be empowered to make decisions for themselves and their families. Each and every birth I attend is such an honor and I feel very blessed to witness women become mothers.
Before I became a midwife: I was a stay at home mommy. I'm still a wife and mommy raising 5 amazing daughters and 2 amazing sons.
