A tincture of your placenta is made using dehydrated placenta powder and steeping it in a high proof alcohol for 6 weeks. Alcohol helps extract the nutrients and hormones present in the powder and can preserve it for many years.
It may be quite useful once you have already used up your capsules in the immediate postpartum period. We recommend using your tincture when you begin to get your period back and feel like you need some hormone support or are worried about a drop in milk supply. It may also be used during times of trauma, transition, emotional stress, future periods or menopause.
