We accomplish this through a network of accredited breastfeeding counselors and comprehensive resources for the benefit of mothers and babies, families and communities.

This group is for women looking for a conversation and an opportunity to come together and be open to sharing stories and education on cannabis use in Motherhood. This is a pro-choice group. Only those looking for education and in support of cannabis are welcome to attend. No cannabis use is allowed during the meeting. All laws must be respected and abided by. Children are welcome to attend.

Is your difficult birth negatively impacting your life, relationships, or parenting? If so, you're invited to honor the transformative journey of the childbearing year at this intimate (free) facilitated circle for people who gave birth and had difficult, disappointing, surprising, or otherwise negative experiences, and who want to begin or continue the healing and integration process.
Virginia provides a warm, nonjudgmental environment where participants are truly heard and understood. Individual feelings and beliefs are honored as parents move through an innovative and effective dialog and process. There will be no lengthy or detailed re-telling of birth stories; rather, parents are guided in a powerful and effective process (with journaling and/or art-making) to help integrate and make sense of their experience of giving birth.
Parents leave the circle feeling less alone, and with a new-found lightness in body, heart, and mind. Whether six weeks or six years postpartum, the time is right for you to tend to this part of your life story. This is also an appropriate gathering for second- (or third-) time expectant parents, as making peace with previous births is an essential part of preparation for the next birth.

Postpartum Wellness Group

If you are going through stress, having challenges with parenthood, experiencing the baby blues, or having pregnancy or postpartum depression/anxiety, our group is for you. Our four-week series is based off a program called The Afterglow and our training with the creator. Topics include coping tools, self-care, exercise, sleep, nutrition, bonding with baby and partner, and much more. You are not alone and with support you will feel better.
Cost: $75.00 for 4-week series
*If cost or financial hardship are a barrier to joining the Postpartum Wellness Group, apply for Postpartum Wellness Assistance to get fees waived.
